That's a negative Ghost Rider

I bought this bomber jacket for next "winter" for Colin on super sale ( $1!!..How can you go wrong?) He didn't seem to be a fan. Maybe he'll change his mind later.

Colin definitely knows how to express his likes/dislikes. His communication skills continue to amaze me. He likes to hold the phone up to his ear and say " uh woah" which I think is" hello". He also very clearly said "baw" the last couple days while pointing to his ball. It has begun!

Today Colin and I spent the day at Rachel's house. Anna was in town so we had all our kiddos together- chaotic, but fun! Anna's baby, Clark, is about 5 1/2 months old. I remember that being such a fun age for Colin, and you may recognize his little blue outfit...it's a hand me down from Colin, who wore it last season! He's outgrown it :(

Pool Days

For the next 6 months, Colin and I can be found here- At the kids pool at the YMCA, total heaven!

The whole pool is shallow and the deepest parts are 1 foot.

This John John outfit is just what I'd like to dress Colin in for Easter this year. I mean how can I resist the blue gingham and the little blue bunnies?! The problem is...I feel like I'm very close or already past the window of time to dress him up in things like this. He no longer wears onesies and I've been quite disappointed in my shopping for him lately. ...finding cute toddler boy clothes is next to impossible. Finding cute baby boy clothes was relatively easy.

 Sigh. I already miss my little baby boy, who has gone from this...

You can't see the full outfit, but this was one of my fav's when he was little!

One good, "big boy" alternative, if I don't go with the John John's, are these, which I LOVE. I think it'd be cute paired with a white or pink polo shirt.

What should I do?!

P.S. Since Easter is my absolute favorite holiday, I already ordered and received Colin's personalized Easter basket.

Scenes from the beach

We're back from a relaxing weekend at the beach! Colin really enjoyed playing in the sand for the first time and the baby pool. We had good food, great weather and caught up with some friends who live nearby the resort. All in all a successful family vacation!!

The resort we stayed at was very family friendly, I can't count the number of compliments I got on " how cute, how adorable, what great hair".

Colin has got his sunglasses and beach toys all ready for a 3 day weekend at the beach. Tomorrow we are heading out to the Tradewinds on St. Pete Beach and I can't be more excited to see Colin play in the sand, splash around in the pool, play some putt putt golf and actually get to spend time with Evan! I hope to be back soon with lots of beach photos!
